IN LOVING MEMORY: “PUNKIN” FERGUSON

punkin3

I'm not sure who adopted who. Punkin was a feral cat we found playing in our front yard. She was a Japanese bobtail. Not quite tail-less, she had the cutest little nub for a tail which wiggled all over the place. She used to scoot up the tree in front of our window and got "stuck" when she forgot how she got there.

She had her litter in our living room at our old apartment and simply became a permanent resident.  Four years ago she survived the fire which swept through our apartment and took 6 of our 8 cats. She was a survivor to say the least. Her last 4 years were great... she lived peacefully without a care in the world, save what she had to eat. Old age finally caught up to her on Dec. 8, 2013. Punkin left a big hole in our souls but not in our cherished memories of her. She was the sweetest and cutest cat anyone could wish for. She will be missed dearly.
